Shepherdstown Area Independent Living (SAIL) enables its members to remain active, connected, independent, and in their homes and community as long as possible. SAIL was the first “Village” in West Virginia and is recognized as a model for non-urban villages nationwide.

Get the word out! You're invited to the SAIL Picnic on Friday, September 18, at Morgan's Grove Park. Starts at 11:30am.

We want to urge all SAIL Members to attend this year's SAIL Potluck Picnic starting at 11:30am on September 18. Entertainment will be music provided by a DJ.

SAIL will provide Fried Chicken and Drinks. SAIL members are asked to bring salads, side dishes and desserts. Some vegan and gluten-free options would be appreciated. Ice cream will be available.

New Activity - Film Group

SAIL members meet monthly to discuss select films, based on themes agreed upon by the group. Group members will watch the films individually at home, in advance of our discussion. Meeting time varies depending on group member availability. For more information or to sign up for this activity, contact Lorie Strait at artinparis@gmail.com.
