JOIN SAIL

As you prepare to join SAIL, you will want to know a few things about our membership criteria, fees and enrollment procedures. You may also want to request an invitation to a Coffee and Conversation event, our monthly informational session for prospective members.
Annual membership fees for SAIL are $250 for an individual, and $500 per household of 2 or more people.* Membership renewals are due each year on May 31, and your first year's fee is prorated according to the length of time between your join date and May 31. (If you are enrolling online, the system will generate the correct first year fee; if you are paying by check, please contact the SAIL office for the amount due.) A limited number of subsidized memberships are available for those who would like to join and need financial assistance.
Because in-person assistance by volunteers is a core SAIL service, membership is limited to those living within the greater Shepherdstown area. Nearby locations are considered on a case-by-case basis.
